Who runs SecurFig
SecurFig is an independent editorial research project run by The SecurFig Editorial Team. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, security vendor, manufacturer, or retailer — and we do not sell security products. The team is responsible for every page, figure, and calculator on this site.
Our approach
Data is compiled from primary and authoritative sources — FEMA and Ready.gov, CISA, the FBI UCR program, and National Safety Council publications — with retrieval dates on every page. Every figure is verified against a source before it is published; anything unverified is marked as pending or omitted entirely. The open dataset is refreshed annually with a versioned changelog.
